The Lansdowne Arts Board is proud to present Process: Works from Nepal by InLiquid Artist member Elisabeth Nickles at the 20*20 House Gallery.
The exhibit is a part of the Lansdowne Arts Center’s solo exhibition series, juried by Bridgette Meyer of Bridgette Meyer Gallery.
Elisabeth Nickles is mixed media sculptor from Philadelphia. She recently returned from an artist residency at the Kathmandu Contemporary Arts Centre at the Patan Museum, in Nepal. Nickles travelled and worked in Nepal for two months, using traditional materials for a new body of work addressing environmental, spiritual and social concerns.
Process: work from Nepal is an exhibition focused on Nickles’ experience in Nepal and translating that experience into multi-dimensional art works. Included in the exhibition are examples of a variety of physical processes used in making sculpture, as well as writing and photos about the work.
