Artist's Statement

I want the viewer drawn into the art work through a complexity of lines. Lines that are meant to both delineate and blur the familiar and the arcane, the sacred and the profane. Once engaged, we establish a public intimacy that can repel or compel further visual conversation that mirrors the complexity of life.
